Overview
Design and construction of revetment and landside retaining walls supported by screw piles, including drainage works, precast concrete wall tops, slope stabilisation, rock placement, landscaping, and all associated temporary works using marine plant.
Challenges
Extremely weak ground conditions required slope stabilisation below low tide levels. Limited canal width further restricted barge manoeuvrability, making conventional anchor systems unfeasible.
Solution
Piletech designed and installed a vertical screw pile cutoff wall using precast panels to stabilise the revetment. This method improved safety, reduced marine traffic disruption, and enabled faster installation with minimal repositioning in the narrow canal environment.
